Closing this as superseded: both parts of the change are already in `main`. - The `RexSimplify` change (`simplifyAndTerms` keeps the caller's unknown-as-false mode instead of resetting it) landed in apache/calcite@6b3844c0634792263a5073b8ea93565fb3415f41 as part of CALCITE-2604, released in 1.18.0. - The `x = x AND y = y` simplification and its test landed in apache/calcite@d10aeb7f7e50dc7028ce102a5f590d0c50c49fa8 (CALCITE-2421, `RexProgramTest.testSelfComparisons`), released in 1.19.0.
