Oh yes, I had forgotten to mention that I had changed the k8s file to
exactly what you commented on, and it had worked.
when I changed the excerpt below manual:
```yaml
- rest:
....
to: my-rote
....
- route:
....
uri: my-rote
....
```
to
```yaml
- rest:
....
to: direct:my-rote
....
- route:
....
uri: direct:my-rote
....
```
That worked
