To keep this PR moving: the doc additions (EIP index, AI patterns page, the TIPs on the Choice/Switch pages), the extra round-trip tests (xml-io, yaml-io, spring-xml, yaml-dsl) and the AI discoverability items (aliases, `CatalogSamples` intents/parts, prompt text) can all go in a **follow-up PR** if that is easier.
