slachiewicz opened a new pull request, #27446: URL: https://github.com/apache/camel/pull/27446
# Description `camel-package-maven-plugin` and `camel-yaml-dsl-maven-plugin` declare `org.apache.maven.shared:maven-dependency-tree`, but no class in either plugin uses it (nothing in the repository imports `org.apache.maven.shared.dependency.*`). The library is planned to be retired (apache/maven-dependency-tree#151), and Maven's own plugins no longer use it. This removes the two dependencies, the managed version in `parent/pom.xml` and the `maven-dependency-tree-version` property, which nothing else references. Verified: `mvn verify -Papache-snapshots` on both plugins passes with the enforcer and the formatter/license checks, with no changes left in the working tree. `camel-package-maven-plugin` runs 79 tests; `camel-yaml-dsl-maven-plugin` has none. # Target - [x] I checked that the commit is targeting the correct branch (Camel 4 uses the `main` branch) # Tracking - [ ] If this is a large change, bug fix, or code improvement, I checked there is a [JIRA issue](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL) filed for the change (usually before you start working on it). Not applicable: this is a trivial build cleanup without a JIRA issue. # Apache Camel coding standards and style - [x] I checked that each commit in the pull request has a meaningful subject line and body. - [ ] I have run `mvn clean install -DskipTests` locally from root folder and I have committed all auto-generated changes. Not run from the root folder: `mvn verify` was run on the two changed plugins (which includes the formatter and license-format steps) and left no uncommitted changes. # AI-assisted contributions - [x] If this PR includes AI-generated code, commits have proper co-authorship attribution (e.g., `Co-authored-by` trailers) and the PR description identifies the AI tool used. --- _Claude Code on behalf of slachiewicz_ -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
