Closing as superseded by #27468, which landed CAMEL-25345 on 2026-10-07. Checked rather than assumed — all three pieces of this draft are on main: - **The fix.** `normalizeUri` now has the fallback, implemented more cleanly than this draft: `doFastNormalizeUri` returns `null` to signal "this needs the complex normalizer", instead of the caller inspecting the output for a `%`. - **The coverage.** `testNormalizeTwiceGivesTheSameUriWithHashOrTwoAtInPath` is strictly broader than this draft's `testNormalizePathWhenQueryNeedsPercentEscape`: it has the same three reproduction cases with the same expectations, two negative controls, and a six-URI idempotence loop that also covers `ftp://[email protected]@host/in/a@b`, `http://host/a#b?q=#x` and `log:a#b?marker=x=y`. - **The doc nit** in the CAMEL-24524 section of the 4.23 upgrade guide is gone from main too. So there is nothing left here worth landing, and a stale green draft on a six-day-old base is only clutter.
