davsclaus opened a new pull request, #1810:
URL: https://github.com/apache/camel-website/pull/1810

A request that asks for Markdown (`Accept: text/markdown`, which Claude Code
sends on every fetch) is rewritten from `page.html` to `page.md`. Pages without
a Markdown copy then got the server's bare 404 page instead of the page. That
covers the home page, `/download/`, `/community/`, `/docs/`, `/security/` and
the other landing pages, which the Markdown generator skips on purpose. The 404
page itself was also rewritten, to a `404.md` that doesn't exist.

   This change:
   - rewrites to the `.md` copy only when it exists, so other pages are served
as HTML and the 404 page works again
   - answers a Markdown request for the home page with `llms.txt`, the Markdown
overview of the site

Tested with Apache httpd 2.4.66 and this `.htaccess`, for a client that asks
for Markdown:

   | Request | Before | After |
   |---|---|---|
   | `/` | 404, bare error page | 200, `llms.txt` |
   | a page with a `.md` copy | 200, Markdown | 200, Markdown |
   | a page without a `.md` copy | 404, bare error page | 200, HTML |
   | a landing page (`/landing/`, no `index.md`) | 404, bare error page | 200,
HTML |
   | a missing page | 404, bare error page | 404, the site's 404 page |

Browsers get the same responses as before.
