Camel 4.24 builds against Vert.x 5.2.1 (CAMEL-23647). Quarkus 3.40.x ships Vert.x 4.5.x, so some Camel Quarkus modules break until we move to a Quarkus 4.x release. Quarkus main is already on Vert.x 5. This issue only tracks what is blocked, so code can point here. ### Blocked by Vert.x 5 vs 4.5 - [ ] vertx-websocket: 7 of 25 JVM tests fail with `NoSuchMethodError` (`ServerWebSocket.textMessageHandler`) - [ ] native image builds fail for platform-http (`HttpServerResponse.reset(long)`) and vertx-websocket; at least 23 native IT modules are affected (platform-http, rest, a2a, knative, vertx-websocket) - [ ] latent, not triggered yet: knative with OIDC (`WebClient.addInterceptor`), `Router.mountSubRouter` ### Blocked by versions managed by Quarkus 3.40 (may land in a later 3.x) - [ ] Salesforce: protobuf 4.35.0 vs 4.35.1 needed (#9319) - [ ] Jolt native: jackson-annotations 2.21 vs 2.22 needed (#9320) ### Exit criteria Camel Quarkus builds against a Quarkus 4.x release (or snapshot) with Vert.x 5.2.x and the items above pass in JVM and native.
