@oscerd thanks for the careful read. On your two questions: 1. **POJOs in `parsedDataException`:** this is intentional. A Map or a List is certainly parsed data, so the message can say "leave this unmarshal out". An arbitrary object may have a type converter to `InputStream`, or be something other than parsed data, so for it the original converter message is kept. `UnmarshalProcessorTest.testBodyThatCannotBeConvertedKeepsTheConverterMessage` checks that case with a plain `Object` body. 2. **Size:** agreed, it's large. It is one theme, and the commits split it in two for reading: the validator and the catalog (ed0db043a0e7), then the runtime hints (762c8c46d8b8).
