# Description `camel doctor` creates its own Maven downloader without applying the `camel.jbang.*` Maven system properties. A custom distribution can therefore fail its Maven check even when its repositories are configured correctly for normal CLI use. Apply the configured repositories, Maven settings/security settings, repository enablement, download and freshness properties before building the downloader. Add regression tests that resolve a fixture artifact from a configured repository with an empty cache, reject a missing artifact, and verify initialization/resolution failures retain the existing failure exit code on main. Existing doctor tests now mock their Maven checks so their outcomes do not depend on network access or a developer cache. Update the command documentation and upgrade guides.
