All 12 fetcher tests ran and passed. - `./mvnw -B -ntp -Psourcecheck validate`: passed. - The invalid-`.git` regression failed with `RepositoryNotFoundException` before the fix and passed afterward. - All 12 fetcher tests also passed with global commit/tag signing enabled, an invalid signing key, and no global Git identity.
