oscerd commented on issue #1722: URL: https://github.com/apache/camel-kafka-connector/issues/1722#issuecomment-6632156024
Closing this as answered, since both setups in the thread are on versions that are no longer maintained (only 4.22.x is supported now). The original `Failed to start component salesforce because of loginUrl must be specified` error comes from a plain `salesforce` component, not the one the Kamelet creates, which usually means `camel.component.salesforce.*` options from the 0.11 configuration are still set; with camel-salesforce-source-kafka-connector, configure everything through `camel.kamelet.salesforce-source.*` (`loginUrl` defaults to https://login.salesforce.com). The later `NoSuchMethodError` is thrown by the Kafka Connect worker's own REST server at startup, which usually means the connector's Jetty 12.1 jars ended up on the worker classpath: install the connector in its own directory under `plugin.path` so it stays isolated (see https://camel.apache.org/camel-kafka-connector/next/contributor-guide/troubleshooting.html). If it still fails on 4.22.x with the connector instal led that way, please open a new issue with the connector version, your configuration (secrets redacted) and the full stack trace. --- _Claude Code on behalf of Andrea Cosentino_ -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
