Sorry this request never got a proper answer. The HDFS connector it targets no longer exists: Apache Camel removed the camel-hdfs component in 4.4 (its last release is 4.3.0) and camel-hdfs-kafka-connector was removed in camel-kafka-connector 4.4.2 (#1581), so there is nothing in 4.22.x to add Parquet support to. On the Camel side, Camel 4.0 added a Parquet data format, camel-parquet-avro (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-13573).
