Thanks @davsclaus, folded in (eb59f8d5bffe): `this.uploadAggregate = null` is now in a `finally` around `completeUpload`, so after a failed complete (which aborts the upload) the next exchanges start a new upload instead of appending to the aborted one. A failing `uploadPart` keeps the state, as you suggest.
