Closing this as outdated. It concerns extending the 0.7.x component-based `CamelAws2s3SourceConnector`, which no longer exists: since 1.0 the S3 source is the Kamelet-based `camel-aws-s3-source-kafka-connector`, and in 4.22.x the generated per-connector task classes are gone as well, so the package layout discussed here no longer applies (keeping the original package was confirmed in the thread as the workaround at the time). For custom converters, transforms or aggregators, the extensible connector archetypes are the supported starting point: https://camel.apache.org/camel-kafka-connector/next/user-guide/extending-connector/index.html.
