lburgazzoli commented on issue #428: XSLT extension does not work with file: URIs URL: https://github.com/apache/camel-quarkus/issues/428#issuecomment-554341190 As far as I remember the stack (camel or xslt engine) still try to access the file before determine if it needs to compile or reuse classes so having something served through http would still lead to some possible slow actions and errors.
