Adapter cleanup could disconnect a MongoDB client shared with application repositories. Borrow supplied clients by default and add AdapterConfig.OwnsClient for explicit ownership transfer. Preserve cleanup for adapter-created clients and document the changed NewAdapterByDB default. Validation: formatting, build, vet, and 15 ownership cases with the race detector, including isolated integration tests against ongoDB 8.3.11 (rs0). Coverage includes cleanup, constructor/client identity and initialization failures.
