I agree the second patch is a better alternative. But I think that the casts to
AbstractNetworkTopologySnitch in DatacenterWriteResponseHandler.java,
/DatacenterSyncWriteResponseHandler.java and
DatacenterQuorumResponseHandler.java should also go away.
