Richard Bremner updated CASSANDRA-8139:
---------------------------------------
    Description:
Insert a column with a negative timestamp value:

{code}
INSERT INTO my_table (col1, col2, col3)
VALUES ('val1', 'val2', 'val3')
USING TIMESTAMP -1413614886750020;
{code}

Then attempt to read the *writetime*:

{code}
SELECT WRITETIME(col3) FROM my_table WHERE col1 = 'val1'
{code}

The result is *null*.
