But we're still only covering lengthy strings, nothing interesting regarding 
dispersion of different values. 

Really the existing fuzz tests should be modified to ensure they cover this and 
all other possible scenarios - however improbably. No harm having the new tests 
as well, but whenever we need a new test, it means our randomised testing is 
inadequate. It should cover empty strings, and huge strings with arbitrary 
contents.
