Can != Do.

Honestly I don't think there's much _value_ in reading our logs unless you're a 
power user, and diagnosing a bug/problem with your cluster. It's mostly a list 
of flushing/compacting messages (plus peer connect/disconnect, that kind of 
thing). We don't not log things because we think users don't want to see; we 
don't log because we're too lazy to think about better log messages, AFAICT. We 
should just improve our INFO logging IMO, but certainly not ideologically 
opposed to this if everyone's bullish.
