[~Stefania] very nice work! You did a very good job with the error handling
and backoff. You're also getting pretty good at python :)
I think the rate of ~60k rows/sec on a laptop is good for now. We could
probably double that, but I think most of the low-hanging fruit has been picked
here.
Your latest commits look good to me, and I'm fine with the {{NO_COLOR_MAP}} fix.
Regarding Windows testing, maybe [~JoshuaMcKenzie] can weight in on who can
help with that?
