This test is failing hard on 2.1. Here is its history on the JDK8 job for 
cassandra-2.1:

and on the JDK7 job:

It fails because a read times out after ~1.5 minutes. If this is a test error, 
it's specific to 2.1, because the test passes consistently on newer versions.
