Aleksey Yeschenko commented on CASSANDRA-11012: ----------------------------------------------- We aren't likely to enable allowing tracing to particular IP addresses. In fact, we won't. But, we will allow you to enable/disable it on per-use basis, restricting it to particular usernames, once CASSANDRA-8303 is done. As such, while it's not *exactly* what you requests, it'll get you what you need, and I'm closing the JIRA as a duplicate. > Allow tracing CQL of a specific client only, based on IP (range) > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: CASSANDRA-11012 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-11012 > Project: Cassandra > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: CQL > Reporter: Avi Said > Priority: Minor > > When monitoring a system and checking issue of specific clients, I would like > to enable CQL tracing on the server side, of all CQLs coming from specific > client only, instead of setting trace probability and get samples of all CQLs > running on the cluster. > Currently it is possible from the code or from cqlsh (on driver side), > however it is not always possible to change client side on a production > system. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
