This is actually on a single-node cluster, so I don't think it's a race
condition. This was being executed with the python datastax driver (I think it
happened on both version 2.1.4 and 3.1.1, we were in the process of upgrading)
but we were seeing this error in Cassandra's logs. I'll keep an eye out for it
happening again.
