Marcus Eriksson updated CASSANDRA-11831:
----------------------------------------
       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: (was: 3.0.x)
                       (was: 2.2.x)
                       (was: 2.1.x)
                       (was: 3.x)
                   3.0.7
                   3.7
                   2.2.7
                   2.1.15
Status: Resolved (was: Ready to Commit)

Committed and added made sure we don't start tombstone compactions with this
enabled.

Also submitted pull request for dtest.

Intentionally did not update CHANGES.txt since we might not want to advertise
this too much

> If we could at least on startup pass a flag like -DskipTombstonePurgeCheck so
> we could in these particularly bad cases just avoid the calculation and merge
> tables until we have less to worry about then restart the node with that flag
> missing once we're down to a more manageable amount of sstables.
