[~beobal] - your branch was pretty close, just a few typos and cases where we
needed to access the environment variable store. I've pushed a branch at
[jkni/11730|https://github.com/jkni/cassandra-dtest/tree/11730] that passes on
Windows and Linux for me. Can you give it a shot on Windows [~JoshuaMcKenzie]
and I'll PR to dtest if it passes for you?
