Hey Chris,Yes but they could utilize this to clean up after themselves and 
attack the database without leaving too much forensic information (or whatever 
they wanted to do). Its just an opening that could be taken advantage of. And 
file permissions are part of another conversation.
Depending on file permissions is a bad thing to rely upon for security. One of 
the top 10 things listed as a problem every year is misconfigured servers (in 
HP, Verizon and other relevant web/security reports).
