A true cassandra special. A patch with a dubious ClassCastException and a half
finished comment passed a review, and now the next person who touches the code
needs to "sufficiently test" to earn the "officially supported" designation
only granted to committers that make untrue statements like "We do not support
embedding C* in a container " and ninja fix stuff.
