As discussed offline with Benjamin, let's keep it as it is.
Note for other readers: Adding _any_ restriction after a slice restriction is
effectively pointless. For example, {{m\[1..\]\[..2\]}} can and should be
written as {{m\[1..2\]}}, {{m\[1..\]\[2\]}} as {{m\[1..\]}}.
Therefore: +1, ship it!
