Jeff Jirsa commented on CASSANDRA-13615:
----------------------------------------
So I'm unable to build it on my hardware, but it looks like fedora ships some
pre-compiled objects
Any objection [~amitkumar_ghatwal] / [~ReiOdaira] / [~mshuler] to grabbing the
object from
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/fedora/devel/rawhide/ppc64le/s/sigar-java-1.6.5-0.18.git58097d9.fc26.ppc64le.html
Built in February 2017, providing:
{code}
MD5 (./usr/lib64/sigar/libsigar-ppc64le-linux.so) =
a08b16e51463c55bc5d0c4b2f6119904
{code}
Or do we need to build against 1.6.4? I'm not familiar with sigar at all, I
feel very much out of my element here.
> Include 'ppc64le' library for sigar-1.6.4.jar

> Hi All,
> sigar-1.6.4.jar does not include a ppc64le library, so we had to install
> libsigar-ppc64le-linux.so.As the community has been inactive for long
> (https://github.com/hyperic/sigar), requesting the community to include the
> ppc64le library directly here.
> Attaching the ppc64le library ( *.so) file to be included under
> "/lib/sigar-bin". let me know of issues/dependency if any.
> FYI - [~ReiOdaira],[~jjirsa], [~mshuler]
> Regards,
> Amit
