I think Benedict was looking for a comparison of exponential search to binary
search with a large number of small trees. The comparison you have is with many
trees is with and without the optimization using binary search?
Since you already did the work of implementing exponential search it seems like
it's worth hooking it up and testing btree size from 1-32 just to see so we
don't have to revisit it later to decide if exponential search is a good idea.
