Debian source package is unavailable on www.apache.org/dist
-----------------------------------------------------------
Key: CASSANDRA-2375
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-2375
Project: Cassandra
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Packaging
Affects Versions: 0.7.4, 0.6.12
Environment: Linux vsp08 2.6.32-21-server #32-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 16
09:17:34 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Reporter: Hannes Schmidt
We are repackaging the Debian packages for in-house use with minor
modifications. To do so we need the source package, but as of today I seem to
be unable to install it. Apt-get fails with a 403 when trying to download the
orig tarball:

>From looking at mirror indexes the orig. tarball seems to be symlinked to the
>release tarball in a different directory. Maybe Apache is configured to not
>follow symlinks?
0.7.x is probably also affected but I didn't check.
