Jeff Jirsa commented on CASSANDRA-13615:
----------------------------------------
I can't configure it to build your branch, because I can't be 100% positive
that you don't swap in malicious code into your branch during the build. I know
it's incredibly unlikely, but if we're pushing binaries to the world, I won't
take that risk.
Instead, I've added a step in
https://builds.apache.org/job/cassandra-ppc64le-sigar/ to apply exactly [this
diff|https://github.com/odaira/sigar/commit/e7ef9b5bd189bc3ec0f7768ad317324d76c8b493.diff]
to the upstream repo.

> Hi All,
> sigar-1.6.4.jar does not include a ppc64le library, so we had to install
> libsigar-ppc64le-linux.so.As the community has been inactive for long
> (https://github.com/hyperic/sigar), requesting the community to include the
> ppc64le library directly here.
> Attaching the ppc64le library ( *.so) file to be included under
> "/lib/sigar-bin". let me know of issues/dependency if any.
