Description:
There seems to be some confusion as to what some of the various methods and
configuration options do and how you should use them to correctly identify
nodes and compare them. Try and add more comments to explain what is going on.
Also make UUIGen node incorporate the port and not just address to be
consistent with what we consider and instance to be.
