I prefer that approach as well as I think it is reasonable for operators to
lower the {{auth_bcrypt_gensalt_log2_rounds}} before they upgrade to the latest
version. Unless there are strong objections from anybody, I think we should go
ahead with it. I have updated the branches. They're here again –
