I have installed cassandra 3.11.4 on a RHEL.7.5 VM. It was working fine for
some days and when i re-started the service it failed with "pid issue".
I have verified the logs but not found any such error related information.Seems
like it is unable to found the process id for it or something to do with the
permissions of /var/run/cassandr/ folder.
Below is the error msg and steps i followed while restarting the cassandra.
Can any one please help me in figuring out this.
