I can confirm that the driver does not perform any HTTP request, never. So this
doesn't seem critical to me on the server side of things.
Also, I confirm that Netty has been indeed updated recently, see
[JAVA-2637|https://datastax-oss.atlassian.net/browse/JAVA-2637], and this will
be released in the next 4.5.0, due in the next weeks.
