thanks for the patch. I see a few tickets floating around for Python 3.6+ 
support. Given that there are significant differences between the minor Python 
versions, it would be great to enhance the circleci configuration to either use 
tox and run the tests against individual python versions (2.7, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8) 
or just add more jobs that will run the tests for each Python version. The 
latter approach might substantially add a lot more jobs and the CircleCI 
configuration might become unweidly.
