Currently maven central repo is not accepting HTTP requests anymore and have
fully switched to HTTPS. This has been addressed in this commit:

However `maven-ant-tasks` has been deprecated and is still fetching
dependencies using HTTP, which fails when trying to publish the Cassandra jar.
Basically, an alternative solution to `maven-ant-tasks` needs to be implemented
for deployment.
I have attached the log from running `ant publish`.
