That's the thing, there's nothing actually in cassandra-all that is a problem.

That is fair and I understand the concern but as far as I can tell nobody is
shipping anything LGPL here. If the project simply builds against it but does
not ship it, my understanding is that's okay, the same way we used to build
with JNA support before it became dual licensed and we bundled it.
