Resolution: Won't Fix
Status: Resolved (was: Triage Needed)
Generally, topology changes shouldn't be done in the middle of an upgrade, and
in that vein replacing in mixed versions isn't something we've ever supported
or tested and it doesn't make sense to begin doing so now.
