Anthony Grasso commented on CASSANDRA-16762:
--------------------------------------------
[~paul-travers-todd] is it possible to have the
[plausible|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-website/blob/asf-site/content/index.html#L11]
script inside the {{<head>}} tag of each page?
Note that there are two different plausible links; one for the
[production|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-website/blob/asf-site/content/index.html#L11]
live site and one for the
[staging|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-website/blob/asf-staging/content/index.html#L11]
site.
Is there a way to have the value for the {{data-domain}} attribute
automatically generated depending on where it is staged?
For example, if the page is being hosted on the {{asf-staging}} branch, it sets
the value to *cassandra.staged.apache.org*. If its the {{asf-site}} branch, it
sets the value to *cassandra.apache.org*. This way we can copy the generated
content from the {{asf-staging}} branch to the {{asf-site}} branch without
needing regenerate the site.
It might be worth having a chat to [~mck] to see what other differences there
are between production and stage that we can use to trigger a change in the
plausible domain attribute.
