Another problem we hit with JDK17 was [this
issue|https://github.com/netty/netty/issues/10317] which I resolved as
suggested by adding bouncy castle as a dependency for test purposes. (I will
send mail to the mailing list, first want to solve all problems here and double
check all my findings/solutions). The issue was observed in SSLFactoryTest
