[~smiklosovic], since the aliases are defined in the CompressionParams class
they could be used anywhere. Good observation.
The crcCheckChance parameter was removed but the crcCheckChance variable still
exists because there are getter/setter functions that are used in other code.
Is the intention to remove the crcCheckChance from all code, just the
CompressionParams or ???
