Hi Stefan,
We are still using Apache Cassandra but without this snitch, we are now using
our configuration management to feed data to standard snitches.
As for Exoscale, there's a compatibility layer with Cloudstack but it is not
Apache Cloudstack under the hood anymore.
If you wish to retire this snitch I would see no huge drawback.
