If all we get out of this is removing the j8 dependency and it isn't doing any
harm then yes I think it would be better to block on it on more thoroughly
testing it since we don't have a lot to gain, and more to lose. It's not on by
default and I think a lot of the bigger deployments that might discover
something by luck also don't have it turned on.
