bq. We need to understand what causes these COMMITLOG_DIRTY flushes, because
there are quite a few tests that will fail if a flush happens at the wrong
time. Or maybe somehow disable commitlog-driven flushing for tests (e.g. by
setting a really large commit log space limit).
I remember running into this same situation in CASSANDRA-18706 now, and I think
something in 5.0 must have changed to cause this. I'll see if I can track that
down, but we could also shut the optional tasks executor down since whatever is
triggering the flushes is going through it.
