If I invoke a command like this:
{code:java}
./bin/nodetool sjk mxdump -q
"org.apache.cassandra.metrics:name=BlockedOnAllocation,type=MemtablePool" {code}
a full list of beans is printed, it looks like query option is not applied.
Same command for 5.0.x works fine. So, it can be related to CASSANDRA-17445
