[~arvindk12] thank you for taking a look. It is aligned with my plans how to
fix it. I planned to try to find the discrepancy between iterator and cursor
logic to try to prepare a fix for cursor logic. If it take too long the plan B
is to disable support for MV by cursor iterator.
So, if you have a fix for the discrepancy in merging logic (point 2 in your
list) - please feel free to raise a PR for it, I'll take a look.
