You should probably move to the SIGINT (or SIGTERM) for a graceful shutdown not 
even for caches but for other services as well (e.g. CASSANDRA-3936). But I'm 
aware of that problem and I think that if row cache is hopelessly outdated we 
don't really want to load it the first place (in current situation or new) 
because it would be just a waste of time...
